[b:fx61hv6e]What task would you like to cover in the project:[/b:fx61hv6e].
I can cover just about all portions of subbing, but due to the task of subbing it requires a lot of different sections to be done. So far I have Translated 30min of the Hotel Batsu game and Timed 2hrs of it. This was done in the span of Friday thru to today. Friday all I did was timings for the Batsu and Sat./Sun. Was spent doing Translations.

Languages: English, Spanish, Japanese
Programs Used: Aegisub 2.1.7

Side notes:
I am here to offer my help to the community and complete this project with-in 1 month or less. So I would like to do the following if anyone would like to form a team for this project and possibly others in the future.
I live and work in Japan, I am still studying and learning more Japanese,
so by no means a beginner.

Just tossing out some Ideas for a Subbing team and what it can/will consist of:

Recruiter: Alex, I think you can handle this just so you can have a list of the current team member or if we need to recruit new staff and such.
Also the go to guy to communicate with if we can’t reach others.

Timers: Will need a person or 2 who can time using Aegisub 2.1.7
That way we can have the timings done quick. Even if done in sections we can combine them later. Just to expedite the subbing process.

Translations
(Rough translator) I can do a lot of translation but will like to have a
(Main Translator) to check the translation and translate stuff I miss. Also a
(Translation checker) So they can go thru the hole thing and double check the work and translations.

Quality Check:
This ain’t the regular grammar check to correct English wording.
But some one who is well aware of what the Japanese pop-culture and its current trends are. Mainly one person will be needed but just have 2 in case one isn’t available as back up.

I would like to release what I have so far, but would rather wait and continue subbing until we have something more concrete on building a team here.

Great post SSJSubgeta! :clap:

Might I suggest a typesetter as well? Someone who could perhaps color the subs and make them match the on screen text? Obviously this isn’t priority number 1 but it just cleans it up and makes it look a bit nicer.

Also maybe someone to handle file distribution as well (e.g someone with a high upload to perhaps be an initial seeder on a torrent, if you guys are intending to hardsub)

Just a couple of ideas from looking at a lot of anime fansub groups. Either way keep up the great work, can’t wait til it’s done!

EDIT: Please don’t take this post as me asking you guys to do more work, just a couple of ideas to make use of all the people who are willing to help out. I have no specific subbing experience but I can help with spelling and grammar checks (though I think that’s not needed)

Anyway sorry for sounding like a needy a$$

Dear SSJSubgeta ,

I’m am impressed with your point of view of a subber team. I really like your team selection for actually making and subbing video’s.

The only thing I … disagree with, is on the part of working on the new year batsu. I already see 3 different groups/people working on that batsu: Me and Shibata, you and someone else i can’t remember for now.

I really would like to take the job of recruiter and “leader”(Leader sounds stupid) for this project. I will try to make a good start for the project, but i will need more idea’s and, if possible, a co-leader to get the project on track.

Please let me know any idea’s or suggestions, they are all welcome!!

Alex, why don’t you contact Shibata and show him this post and those screens? I’m pretty sure he’ll be ok for some kind of team subbing.
