Black Luster Meaning

Soo if you’ve seen no laughing police, hospital, newspaper, or hotel man you probably know that the building is always named gaasu kurobikari. Gaasu as in a nickname for one of the producers and kurobikari as in black luster.

I looked up black luster on google and all I could fine was a very powerful yu-gi-oh card with like 25 stars (the more the better right? Never was into yu-gi-oh) and to think that having a hospital or hotel named after a yu-gi-oh card is pretty funny right? What do you guys think it means?

For a while I thought it was a pun on the term "lackluster," but as that’s an English word, I have to wonder at its feasibility.
