They mentioned in episode 196 that in season 19 they would no longer ban Playstation, Saturn and, gulp…, 3DO titles.
Even though he has played at least one Playstation and Saturn game before.
I don’t envy the people who have to translate the riddles Yanai was giving in this episode.
I hope they do Little Nemo or Demon’s Crest sometime.

I still own the complete in the box japanese version of this game. This game really pushed the envelope for 16-bit gaming when home conversions began to be released. The [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DEC8pyDio38:fxc5p4u2]1989 arcade original CPS1 game[/url:fxc5p4u2] remains an absolute masterpiece.

With [b:1xkdn6wr]Top Gear [/b:1xkdn6wr]cancelled, I was afraid this was going to be a boring weekend. Thanks to [b:1xkdn6wr]SA GCCX[/b:1xkdn6wr] team, it turned out to be absolutely epic.
SA GCCX was really generous this week! The only thing that I don’t like is that they upload the episodes on Torrents and no longer on Direct Download

I highly doubt there will be any 5th Gen Consoles on the show, mostly because it seems it’s more focused on 80’s/early 90’s games.

He also played Ocarina of time a few years back.
Did he? Hmm… I really should keep up with all episodes then.
He played Ocarina of Time back in season 14, which was all the way back in 2008. Further back than that, he played Mario 64 in season 4, as well as Parappa the Rapper and some others on PlayStation. Last season, he played D on Saturn, which was sort of the testing grounds for later generation game popularity. Based on the success of that, in the last episode of season 18, the Murasame Castle one, it was announced that season 19 would have more challenges from PlayStation, Saturn, and 3DO.

As we approach the end of "games from Fairchild to NES that are actually enjoyable to watch", I’m sure we’re going to see more 3D and PS1/N64 games.
