# Hamada's Annual Batsu Show "Entertainer Rating Check"

An annual show since 2005. Not sure of the English title but the Japanese is 芸能人格付けチェック  
Aside from the earlier episodes this is broadcast on New Years Day (January 1st), which seems apt considering theres also the New Years Eve Gaki no Tsukai Batsu broadcast.

Guest comedians/entertainers are ranked by certain data, two of whom are chosen as A or B. Everyone must decide which of them is ranked Number 1. If they choose wrong there is a punishment. There is usually a separate "Special" the result of the final batsu tends to be shifted to (the rest of the special is with celebrities, no punishments I think for them though).

yes , and that is probably is why they were uploaded in the first place. Most Japanese Uploaders, upload shows in which their favorite celebrity is on. that’s why Specials are posted…

lets keep looking !, those batsus must be somewhere ! I youku may have them.

How can I download Youku videos? I know it recommends using XMLBar but i dont know how to use it (Cant read the site, its not in english)

At the top of the site next to the XMLBAr logo is a Language selector e.g. French etc. Here’s a direct link to the English one:

I’ve watched the Special for 2013.  
The 2 winners of the comedian selection show join the other celebrities. They are all separated into teams of 2 each, except the ‘Exile & Comedians" team(where there are 4).  
At the start, they all have the plaque of 一流芸能人(first class entertainers) and excellent chairs/slippers.  
If they get a question wrong, their plaque and chairs/slippers are downgraded to a lower standard. Besides ‘first class entertainers’, there’s ‘normal entertainers’, ‘second class entertainers’, "third class entertainers’, ‘lookalikes’ and finally ‘not enough value to be shown’.

Thank you solari, that is interesting.  
Yeah I noticed at the beginning of the batsu part they seem to focus on a few empty chairs and then the battle for the comedians to get a seat begins. ![:lol:]( "Laughing")  
I didn’t realise their title cards also showed that by gradually decreasing position, makes sense!  
The 2014 Batsu & Celeb Special was aired. I need to update this thread \>\_\< Just a bit busy at the moment, but I’ll get around to it!

P.S. I was a little dissapointed Hosei dodged the bullet this year, he wasn’t in the fray of comedians just a cameo video, so this time only his former team-mate Degawa got Hamada’s ‘special batsu’. ![:P]( "Razz") I guess Hosei had other commitments when it was being filmed.

Only the part with the comedian and the games, I’m not interested in the part with the famous people sitting in the chairs. I will be very grateful.
