How to work out the most recent series

I found out about DownTown through the Batsu games and was going to watch other parts of the series. Anyway, I find it hard to work out from all the sub-forums what the most recent videos are. Could someone give a quick explanation?

I understand that Downtown no Gaki no Tsukai ya Arahende!! is a made up of a number of sketches, so I assume the Absolutely Tastey Series, for example, is just one of a number of sketches in the show…or do I have this completely arse about face?

gaki no tsukai is a random show where all 5 of them (matsumoto, hamada, endo, tanaka and yamazaki) perform something that is a joke hence it’s called gaki no tsukai(errand boy)
latest show in gaki is episode 1063, new downtown show is called Bakusho! Akan keisatshu which is a show judging submitted video or picture whether it’s allowed or not. Downtown also have another show called lincoln consisting of member from other companies.
Downtown gotsuu ee kanji is a show where it already stopped and it portrays the image of young downtown which is great to watch 8)

Thanks for the explanation. How long are the full shows when they run on the TV?

I am already learning the language through the videos. I know "Itai!" and "AUTO"…meh, they just about come in handy!

itai is for pain, auto is a pronunciation for out in japan, don’t ask me why because that’s just how they pronounce it, same as sankyu :P

which shows are you talking about? :^)

Full GnT shows are half hour excluding Batsu Games. The sub forums in the gnt Section are obviously made up of themes that is repeated more than 3 times. Not necessarily created as a ‘categorized by most favourite series’ (excluding any Batsu theme as it’s the most popular theme in this forum and any other areas) but it is easier to break the entire GnT down.

Sometimes it’s not a good idea to begin by watching the next Batsu games after watching your first ever Batsu/GnT show as you’ll have a hard time understanding the relationship of the group without watching at least half a dozen of the older GnT episodes. The first GnT episode i saw was the Highschool Batsu one and I didn’t understand it except for the fact that it was fucking hilarious. I saw the Onigokku one after and didn’t get anything aside from the hilarity at all.

But if you’re only interested in the funny, then by all means, watch any of the non-subbed episodes at random.
