It worked fine for me earlier. Deflow, I used the latest Media Player Classic in the CCCP pack with no problems. An older version didn’t show the subtitles. Not sure on VLC, etc. Might need to check to see if you’ve got the latest updates for that, if that isn’t it, try the CCC pack at http://www.cccp-project.net/

Checked the video and the subs display properly for me with the latest version of media player classic.

Screenshot below of the file running subbed in VLC, didn’t set subtitle tracks, just dropped the file into VLC. You’re probably missing an MKV codec of some sort since the subs are embedded inside the MKV. Try a codec pack like K-Lite etc. Or updating your player if you haven’t already, VLC etc. tend to bundle codecs with each version so maybe the most recent had a new set.
