That was Housei co-hosting with his rakugo teacher Tsukitei Happo for the show Restaurant Magic R, what a funny coincidence. You can watch that show he was filming here:
Higashino’s face is priceless. Tsukitei Happo seems like a upbeat guy that takes everything in his stride. Of course Hamada can’t resist teasing "Yama-chan", at least he didn’t beat him up this time.

Its a shopping/products show so it’s not too exciting, but having a comedian as a host it doesn’t take itself too seriously, so Housei will start hugging and jumping up and down with people just because a blender is so cheap. Plus any program that does zoom-in closeups of Housei every episode is A-OK with me
At the moment Housei seems to mainly be hosting the in-studio bits and chats but from a commercial I saw, he has also done some on-location roaming that looked fun, hope he does so again.

The other day I tried to record something and it just kept stopping at 0% loading every time I tried. Other times the stream will glitch out or lose sound. Some of my most recent recordings have required re-encoding due to how corrupted they are from the stream breaking up so much.
I wish they’d go back to the previous version and just do a beta test via Facebook volunteers for the new version until stable and ready to be released…

Oh wow, I didn’t know this existed, looks like some kind of direct-to-video thing released in 2012. Apparently about a group of kids who run away from home for different reasons and wind up at a remote cabin owned by an elderly man who takes them in. No idea what Housei’s role is, looks like he’s tracking his missing family and something leads him to the man at the cabin. Then he and the kids get caught up in some danger, but thats just my wild guess.
