You can still do “full qual” with xvid or h264, the problem with Mpeg2 being that it is extremely inefficient, and you can thus get the same quality as a 4gb mpeg2 file with a 1.5gb h264 file. Since this file is basically a raw, i could give it a shot.

By all means work the file however you wish , I was just making it for myself & friends. posting it online was an afterthought, that’s why it is how it is

You did an amazing job with yer subs rupan. Sadly they are synced to a video that is harder to find / get… not to mention more than 2 times the size of the avi. hawet just did an awesome job fitting it to a readily available video.

I downloaded the 3.95GB version, but VLC seems to chrash if I try skip in it. I had already seen the first half, but if I try to go the point where I had come to, VLC crashes. Is it something with the file or VLC? anyone knows?
EDIT: After a few tries, I got to the right point. Had about 2 tries in avarage before vlc crashed…

So the sub file you made will play with both the 671MB and 3.95GB files, correct?
