I feel it’s better with all of them in it. Maybe it’s because they all have their personalities and quirks. They all bring something to it and I just like to see something from all of them, especially Matsumoto and Hamada. And usually those two were separated to winner and loser.
Bets and splitting them up into teams was fine when they were airing the batsu game at various times of the year. However, for the big, expensive New Year events they’ve done for the last while, they need to consider what the network wants. And what the network likely wants and forced them to do was to have everyone together.
People have been guesing it will be Firemen since the last Batsu before it was released to be Airport, and the same is going here with this Batsu. It seems this year that Firemen guess will come true. I wonder if there is a NTV employer lurker in here .

Quite disappointed it’s not No Laughing Army but anyway! I bet it’s gonna be funny.
I couldn’t do the guess of firemen myself for a simple reason . Since the past Batsus, they had those, you know like LIGHT ROBE job thingie or whatever. Like easy job stuff with good uniforms . But I’ve never seen a firemen with 2 piece suit you know. So they’ll be going all day with a BIG ARSE red hat and full of heavy clothing all day ? Just kiddin’ but who knows. If I think of it myself, it looks a dificult theme , so I wonder what they really came up with. It’ll be exciting, that’s fo sure .

My guess: Endo will have to fireman carry Matsuko Deluxe out of a "burning" building, and Deluxe will grope him the entire time. Matsumoto will laugh and Tanaka will try to blend into the background.
nice… Firemen seem logical. They don’t have to wear heavy gear all day- firemen only put it on when there’s duty. If they’re on an island, will there be a bus ride?
It’ll be interesting to see how many celebrity cameos they have. Okinawa seems like a pretty long ways to bring the cast, film crew, and 50 or so celebrities for a cameo that lasts minutes.
