[b:rdfoi8f4]Possible translation for the scoring: [/b:rdfoi8f4]
NBT - Nice Bikkuri Timing.

Going weak/body reaction due to being so shocked 腰抜かし度.
How long they’re surprised for ビックリミニッツ ("Bikkuri Minutes").
How well they kept it a secret that it was for candid camera 企画バレてない感 ("Bare" - to be found out).

I believe it also says, to signify the end of their attempt they have to scream or shout something.

[b:rdfoi8f4]Google translate of episode content from Japanese TV guide [/b:rdfoi8f4](innacurate and garbled of course but adds some details here and there):

oh boy only 6 minutes in and I’m also laughing my ass off.
this one is great even without subs simply because the reactions are so wonderful. Ogi is hilarious.

Kazuo Umezu did awesome painting. I can’t wait for next sunday.

my pandora is not working, the screen is just black. i haven’t seen Faking Anger Grand Prix, is there a thread somewhere in the forum?

Yeah I don’t understand any Japanese so I was really glad to see this weeks episode was in the same series as the Katamari Grand Prix etc. which can be funny without subs thankfully. :D
damn especially the scoring part would be really interesting to understand.

Same, Hopefully someone who can read Japanese can decipher that part. All I know for sure is NBT = Nice Bikkuri Timing since they say it in English during the episode haha. I think some of the rest is about how their expression is (jaw dropping アゴハズレーナ & eye popping メダマトビデーノ), going weak/body reaction due to being so shocked 腰抜かし度, how long they’re surprised for ビックリミニッツ and how well they kept it a secret that it was for candid camera 企画バレてない感 but thats just completely vague guessing based on the crappy Google Translate so could be totally wrong.

I believe it also says, to signify the end of their attempt they have to scream or shout something.

[quote:g1r6u0xq]Ogi is hilarious.[/quote:g1r6u0xq]

Yeah I thought the first guy was great too. His consecutive shocked reactions in a row were hilarious. He reminded me of that bunny in Usavich who gasps a lot.

Tanaka’s faces were great too, he does have a lot of experience in looking startled afterall!
I can’t wait for next sunday.[/quote:g1r6u0xq]

Same. I’m really looking forward to next weeks episode. Can’t wait to see Yamasaki’s attempt considering how often he puts a surprised look on his face just to make the other Gaki members laugh (he’ll probably have a tough time keeping a straight face himself though). But I’m sure whatever he does Downtown will be especially tough on him haha. :D

I did find a couple threads on the forum but all the links were dead. I made a new post on one of them with Pandora TV rip uploads for ya:

Your the Man!

Thanks for this. Anyone know why the guy cocorico was pranking started crying at the very end? I couldn’t make out what they were saying.

[b:x6y1m27o][u:x6y1m27o]Fun Fact:[/u:x6y1m27o][/b:x6y1m27o] Tanaka picked up little Chinese language through his training in a Chinese restaurant in Beijing for months to be a Chinese chef as a part of a "legend making" challenge in "Ikinari! Ougon Dentetsu" show where Cocorico has hosted for more than 10 years.
Thanks for this. Anyone know why the guy cocorico was pranking started crying at the very end? I couldn’t make out what they were saying.[/quote:k258indp]

Yeah I’m curious too. :?: It was pretty unexpected.
I guess it wasn’t too serious if they were happy for all the footage to be used in the show, but still would be interesting to know.

Thanks for the context. Gives a better idea of what Tanaka was discussing (whilst Endo was staring at him with a shocked face  ).

Cocorico always make the funniest eps with their dual reactions :D

soudou さん、あなたの日本語理解能力は素晴らしいです。

amazing GrandPrix as always !!

I am obviously dying to know why the overseas Employee started crying at the end ! Almost immediately! I am dying to know.

But there’s something I’ve noticed about these GransPrix pranks, the victims do not take it easily… After all, what they though was a casual dinner with a fellow comedian turns out to be a complete fake…

Thanks soudou, JapanCH and future HD uploaders
soudou さん、あなたの日本語理解能力は素晴らしいです。[/quote:10w0o701]

Wow, thank you, thats very kind of you (if I really do understand  ). I’m glad to know I was right then about the scoring, if thats what you meant? :o
I pretty much just read between the lines from different machine translations or dictionaries, then thought of it in context. Like the "メダマ" meaning eyeball - so in the context of being surprised - eye popping. :?:
The only Japanese I know are random words and phrases I’ve picked up from watching TV, so sadly I’m not that able, though I did try to learn what most the Hiragana symbols stand for the other week at least. :D
Thanks again for your kind words. It really means a lot to me.

@PEGO: You’re welcome!

Once Cocorico and the staff was introduced, the guy is saddened/embarrassed/disappointed that he was unable to "help" his seniors have a better showing in the bikkuri game they were playing.
