lol, it’s always so strange to see tanaka being sadistic. it’s so out of character for him. and i love how they’re always after his eating habits. makes me wonder if there is some truth in there, haha. and why is he so angry at melons !?

Tanaka is angry at watermelons because he injured his good friend, and sempai Yamazaki with them. He did as he was told, but in the aftermath he could see what he had done was a very bad idea. The ordeal of possibly injuring his sempai even further drove Tanaka over the edge.

I like this bit, because it’s derived coincidentally from another episode. I also like it because it shows a different side of Tanaka, and you know what? I think License could get a lot more mileage out of this. Judging by the way the second episode ended, I’d say there’s at least 2 more weeks of this.

Good call. I didn’t notice that at first, but it looks like a groin injury or something. He’s using an ice pack while he’s sitting down too. Hamada and Matsumoto are almost 50, so… you know.

Matsumoto seems very healthy and strong (physically), but Hamada… I don’t know… [/quote:16amixsj]
Except for Matsumoto’s nagging hip injury, I’d have to say he is in great condition. He’s been hitting the gym since he settled down, and I think Hamada’s injury is only temporary.
Matsumoto is in great shape. Especially for his age. He can do over 20 pull-ups, climb a 6m rope and had a pull strength of close to 400lbs which is in itself pretty amazing for his height/weight. Hamada has looked to be in good shape for a long time, albeit not as fit as Matsumoto. His cardio isn’t the greatest, but that could be due to 30 years of smoking lol. Seems like he might have pulled a hamstring. I’ve pulled both of mine a few times, and it is pretty brutal. Just a few observations from a fitness trainer viewpoint. Man, all that seemed shorter in my head. Sorry for the novel.
This was a pretty awesome episode. I definitely hope they do more of these breakdowns in the future!

His sense of balance is beyond epic.

LOL! What a surprise. Injured while up to evil mischief again.
