This is my opinion but this hasn’t been a good year for Gaki no Tsukai. Seems like it’s losing strenght.

That’s the joke behind why he starts boxing when the girl clangs the lid onto the pan. During his boxing days he had a unique punch called the "frog punch" where he would crouch way down then jump up and upper-cut his opponent. He simulates a frog punch at one point on the girl.
