Inside 5, I like Matsumoto. He’s so random.
If outside 5 may be included, I’d choose Heipo. He’s funny without purpose (Absolutely Tasty ~ Tempura & Kikiseries, yes. But in 24 hour tag & Po Channel, he seems like making people laugh on purpose)

Skip to 3:00 and you can definitely hear Hamada’s voice, the Japanese subtitles blue indicating Hamada’s speech color, and then Endou just giving that pause of muffled laughter.

Hamada CAN be nice. Being sadistic is not a persona he abuses (pun intended) unless it’s a scripted segment or something he thinks is wrong (a [i:1l94hr2c]lot [/i:1l94hr2c]of things ). I think he did a really good training of being sadistic but, even though he DOES have the balls to abuse, he’s really a nice guy. And I don’t mean by chivalry or something, but as an attribute.

I totally agree with you, Hamada is actually a nice guy, I’ve noticed more than once that he’s the first one or the only one to worry when somebody is hurt or too worried (notice when Tanaka cried on his prank, Hamada takes his arm and gives him a significant look before laughing freely, also when he throws the cake on Heipo’s face and he falls down hitting his head on the 24hrs Tag batsu, he quickly checks his head

That said, Hamada is my favorite, I love the way he can sing something as sweet as Chicken rice and have such a sadistic laughter and style. Gotta love the gorilla (loved when Yamasaki told him he had a "gifted" face because he could make them laugh by only saying "huh?")

Indeed, I forgot to mention, my second favorite is Matsumoto, I just love Downtown and their manzai, they have an amazing bond, I could watch "Drunk Momotaro" over and over just to see Hamada and Matsumoto laugh like that
If I had to choose, either Yamazaki or Tanaka would be my favorites ^^ I really like Tanaka’s work outside of Gaki too…
Deep down i love all members equally though. An episode Gaki is never complete without all 5 of them :3

oohh i love all of them XD But if i had to put them in order, it would be…
1.Tanaka+Matsumoto (tanaka 'cuz he’s hilarious at those ‘horror’ bits xD and Matsumoto because his laugh makes me laugh…and he laughs at pretty much everything LOL)
2.Yama-chan (he’s funny because he receives all the pranks and and pain LOL…like Chono-san’s slaps or the weird costumes. he’s also really random haha)
3.Endo+Hamada (i don’t hate them, but im just saying that i would prefer the others over them aahah!)
I agree about Matsumoto’s laugh - it’s so contagious! I love when he tries to make the others laugh during the no-laughing batsu games but he ends up making himself laugh!

Oh I hear ya on that! His laugh is way too contagious! Even if I don’t find something funny, say a joke in the bastu game, Matsumoto’s laugh is enough to get me chuckling!

I like everyone! There is no one I hate! I’m pretty sure I can say I like them all pretty equally, but Matsumoto and Hamada seriously never fail to make me laugh and ugh, I think I have a crush on Tanaka so there’s a spot that’s near and dear to my heart. _ I have the same reasoning for Tanaka as many others here, although I think he’s a bit boring at some of the batsu games! Maybe it’s 'cause the others are being obnoxiously funnier at those moments? (X
