Hey guys, you can use an Internet Explorer extension called ‘‘Ant.com Video Downloader toolbar’’. It works for Pandora and other sites. I never tested it on Youku and others.
Do they always upload things to streaming sites as a way of distribution, or do they share the original file using japanese P2P or torrents or something?
Maybe you have to look for the source instead of getting a "second hand" file from a streaming site!

There are P2P like Winny, Share, Perfect Dark etc. but I can’t seem to get those to work sadly. I can download from other P2P like torrents and Korean Clubbox etc. fine, but Japanese P2P seem to just come up with nothing for me even after port forwarding, disabling firewalls and all that business
The few times I used them it took a LONG time for search results to start appearing
Does Ant.com fetch the 720px HD videos from Pandora? The only partial success I’ve had with Pandora HD is from JDownloader but those only go up to 99% and die out, it doesn’t complete and the rest of the download is wasted because its encripted and it just becomes a waste of my internet bandwidth. What a troll, got me duped a few times. Anyway, I’m currently using eMule and there’s a healthy bunch of Ametalk episodes from 2011, 2013 and about 20 or so DVD iso and all are in HD. There’s a couple of HD London Hearts and that’s about all the owarai shows I’ve fond there.
Isn’t that some kind of firewall issue that is going on with you, soudou? Give me a link to see if I can download Japanese P2P, because that seems odd.

I tried disabling my firewall but no luck unfortunately. Like Knudow says though Japanese P2P is quite slow and complicated I think when it comes to getting results. I’d greatly appreciate the help though as some stuff can only be found via such networks.
Here are some tutorials if you wanna give it a go.

I dunno how many still use them but I think they tend to use them more than other methods like torrents since the software use encrypted caches / IP addresses and operate based on node clusters. That’s why its so awkward and complicated to connect to, it tries so hard to be "trackerless" it can take hours for it to gather information from each node on a cluster… Of course people still get caught on it.
Anyway I might be out of luck even if I did manage to connect to them because the stuff I want to grab from http://hashdb.com/ on Share etc. are likely not seeded by anyone these days (e.g. old VHS films Housei was in ).
Seems to be the opposite for me, I can get search results just fine on PD but nothing downloads (well almost nonexistent). I gave up on Share it seemed too complicated, gonna give Winny a try eventually.
I just wanna get better HD videos then what youku offers.
I’m stuck on "perfect dark is online. open port NOTconfirmed." Anyone else on the same boat?
I’ve used an open port + configured firewall rule and allowed perfect dark. Dunno where to go from here.
[quote="n3gra":4vy9896x]gonna give Winny a try eventually.[/quote:4vy9896x]
I think they abandoned Winny because the security system was cracked (I don’t know what word to use) by the police.
If I remember right, Perfect Dark doesn’t let you download until you have a big cache downloaded (I don’t know exactly the size of the cache)

The weird thing is that you see a lot of japanese using plain torrent programs. I don’t get why they have all these specific anonymous P2P programs but then they use normal torrents.

You have a point there, I even saw peers located in Japan downloading the huge 1983-2013 Gaki Collection torrent posted here, but are there actually any Japan-based Torrent sites?

Back in the day anime raws were ripped by a famous guy (or group) and they had their own tracker-site. I don’t know if that is still going.
You also see a lot of japanese guys downloading dorama batches and things like that, even the ones with english subs.

Oh yeah! Remember that around August/September 2012, an anti piracy law was approved in Japan. However, it’s funny that some japanese netizens are uploading many shows on fc2, Dailymotion, etc. without having their content removed (at least not removed soon, unlike Viacom that removes copyrighted stuff almost inmediately).
There was some discussion over on another thread about the anti-piracy thing as it has escalated recently apparently:
http://gaki-no-tsukai.com/viewtopic.php ... 704#p48717I find that most stuff gets deleted within a day or two on FC2.
I will try Perfect Dark on my seedbox.
1.19 is the last version?
edit: I see stuff! Sadly the japanese charactere are strangely not showing, so i have no idea what is it.
Tell me the Yamazaki movie you are looking for, i will take a look.
Seems fc2 is actually following the anty piracy law so they won’t get in trouble and get them sued by the big japanese TV channels.

Oh cool! Well it’s probably impossible but I’ve always been curious about some old films he’s listed as being in which I don’t think ever made it on DVD.
Sorry, I did not find anything. and by tiping Hosei name in japanese, I just find 4 videos.
I can’t see the japanese characters in the files list, so i don’t know what is it.
one is from 05 october 2014 and another is 14 sptember 2014, if you can find what show is it and if you are interested I can download it.
I can guess the two other one are Gaki Episode we already have here.

It have 57 videos, by the date in the filename, I think most of them (~45) are "Marco Polo".
3go size, ts format. must be raw hdtv quality.
