MEGA’s very fast have you tried JDownloader? It speeds things up immensely. http://jdownloader.org/download/offline

Jdownloader requires Java to run, which is a freaking huge security risk.
Also the raws on Mega are bigger than they will let you download without their browser plugin and if you know the owner of Mega (I knew him personally up until about 2001. This was when he still called himself Kimble instead of Kimdotcom) I’m pretty sure that plugin contains malware.
Right now I’m really hoping for a torrent.

One thing to note is that Javascript (the browser-based stuff created by Netscape that some decide to disable for security reasons) is surprisingly a different thing than core Java (system-based):
http://www.bbc.co.uk/webwise/guides/java-and-javascript https://java.com/en/download/With JDownloader you don’t need Mega’s browser plugin since it’s system-based. But naturally I respect your decision.

It’ll probably happen, may just take longer to show up since the subs aren’t even re-timed yet for 1080p.
anyone have hard/soft engsub to No Laughing Prison (2014-2015) (720 30p - MP4+AAC - no commercials) from this site?
[quote="soudou":hc2ea50a]Java/Javascript[/quote:hc2ea50a]
I was actually talking about Java. Last time I used it (like 5 years ago or so), JDownloader required the Java Runtime to run. Iirc That’s where the "J" in its name comes from. It also still states on their website that it requires Java 1.5.
Lots of malware exploits the vulnerabilities in Java, which is extremely outdated at this point and doesn’t really get patched a lot.
There are tons of well known ways of how to get malware onto your system just because you have Java installed.
People should get rid of it.
The worst problem here is that Minecraft is so freaking widespread and also requires Java, so we’re facing millions and millions of computers that can easily get compromised without the user even noticing.
The thing about the Mega browser plugin was about the other option of downloading it off Mega directly.

Version 8 Update 45: Release date April 14, 2015
But yeah everything carries risks, some torrent clients have been criticized for malware/adware/spyware and the like. Always a good idea to have stuff like MalwareBytes, SuperAntiSpyware, Avira, CCleaner etc. on hand.
I use torrents, direct downloads, whatever’s going.

I take that, but you have to look at how many known flaws are still not patched and how many 0day exploits show up just for Java.
Just take a look at the black hat conventions and there’s always a few mindblowing vulnerabilites in Java that can’t even be called 0day anymore because they’ve been known for months.
It’s just a huge risk to take for a few programs running on a dying platform.
Edit:

If you’re looking for a fairly trustworthy torrent client, check out Qbittorrent.
Hackers will always be a step ahead yeah. Though as torrent clients get more popular there’ll probably be more injections surrounding those.
http://www.theverge.com/2015/3/6/816125 ... re-malware http://www.theguardian.com/technology/2 ... nlei-china( I still use utorrent, I just disable the junk and keep a anti-malware/spyware/virus/firewall handy. Not bulletproof but then nothing is ).

Wasn’t that actually a "feature" they introduced semi secretly (a.k.a. you have disagree to use it while you install it) to the official program?
People were discussing about how to use an old version of utorrent was actually safer because the whole thing had been compromised.
Anyways let’s just stop it here with this because it’s way offtopic:

Edit:
Didn’t want to make another post to answer yours after mine so we don’t clutter up the board.
I can only imagine how you feel right now with not having seen any of the batsu game. You must be pumped for the actual release.
I’m having some friends over because… well… Friday was my 32nd birthday and we’re having a weekend long party planning to get wasted while watching the whole thing as a final celebration.

Yeah something like that. I’m running the latest version but I used a tutorial to disable the extras. I have heard of qbitorrent and may switch to it, cheers

Sorry about that As always though good to have discussion and I totally see where you’re coming from. Here’s hoping the subfile for 1080p gets released soon in all manner of downloading avenues.
If we’re talking about torrents, Tixati is far superior to utorrent. Qbittorrent is pretty good as well, but Tixati is much more lightweight.
Anywho, here’s hoping Bigun’s 1080 RAW gets a torrrent for longevity’s sake.
Thanks again for all the hard work everyone has put into this! I waited since November or December 2014 and now I will have to allot 5 hours sometime this week (Friday?) to watch this
Many thanks once again!

Does anyone else experience crackling and popping during the 720p video when there is loud noises? its like when there is a bad stream or something. I know it’s not my computer because everything else sounds good. just wondering if I should redownload it or something.
Bigun can you check your 720 video? I just downloaded it and from what I can tell something must have gone wrong. The audio is really bad, sounds get drowned out a lot, easily noticeable with laughter. The video quality seems to be worse than the original 720 (6.6GB) copy too unfortunately, theres a lot of artifact compression I can see.

Look at the orange font at the bottom or the box thing up on the wall with the blue rectangle behind Matsuko

Look at the lines on the boxes or Tanaka’s forehead wrinkles and hat

Same problem too.
The 720p cut (Bigun’s) is watchable… but certainly not easy on the ears. It sounds like really low quality audio? Or is that just me?
Not just during loud noises; with general dialog, if you listen you can hear that ‘hiss’ in the track.
Does Bigun’s 1080p cut also have the audio problems the others are experiencing with as Bigun’s 720p cut?

This. I’m not downloading 27 gigs just to find out it’s broken aswell.
I really hope they won’t use the broken 720p version for the hardsub.
