Haaaaa… the description is not necessarily accurate. More like, "The guys sit aound a table loaded with food and watch it turn cold as two freshmen comics argue in the corner". It was painful to watch, I really felt bad for the skinny guy. Reminds me of almost every conversation I had with my father-in-law.

X-GUN are apparently not freshmen since they has been around for 20+ years. I saw them hosting TV Champion episode years ago.
This is another X-GUN featured episode and there was at lease one in the past if my memory serves me right. The joke is about them arguing, not the food competition, a generic variety show section.
This is another episode that needs sub badly to get the point.
