the main character is played by Chiyoko Asami
it is a parody of the movie Shaolin Girl (japanese version of shaolin soccer) .

Shaolin Girl was horrible according to all critics I could read.

Its on netflix.

I watched it and it was all シュール (pointless comedy), kind of like Matsumoto’s Big Man Japan. I thought it was pretty funny, especially all the jokes about old people (gateball tournaments, etc.). If you thought Big Man Japan was funny, you’ll probably like Shaolin Baba (also known as Shaolin Grandma)
