This is waaay Off Topic from Japanese Comedy and stuff, but I wonder what happened in Japan where a driver hit various cars just to get passed that truck? It got a lot of coverage by TBS, Fuji TV, etc.
But like I said earlier, the accident was covered by various channels in Tokyo, like if someone made a massacre or something, that’s why I’m curious. I think the police arrested the guy later, because I saw a man covered by his jacket scholded by the police.[/quote:a170heep]
Oh I get you now. I typed down the Hiragana/Katakana on the news report heading and looked up a couple of the Kanji then chucked it into Google (which estimated the rest), here’s the text of the news report:

Runaway car collides with 10 vehicles. Male driver quotes "I had smoked some law-evading herbs".[/size:a170heep]
A runaway car in Fukuoka Tenjin collided with 10 vehicles before coming to a stop when it hit a guardrail. 15 people suffered minor injuries in the incident.
The two men in the car stated "I smoked a law-evading herb".

I looked up the "law-evading drug" thing on the Japanese<->English Ejje Dictionary and it says: A law-evading hallucinatory herb (e.g. synthetic marijuana, "fake pot"). I’m guessing it’s the use of drugs that stands out in the news. I don’t know anything about what these "law-evading herbs" are but at a total guess I imagine the media might debate on whether they should be considered outside the law etc.

I’ve seen a lot of those videos, it bothers me that in Russia they drive like they were the street kings or something. You should see this video, it’s shocking even if it’s 2 years old. Sorry for putting this over here.
