I visit a lot of forums in my free time and I must say that this forum is a real gem. I do love phpbb software and the whole layout so its a good choice of platform.
Being a new member , I dont think my suggestions hold much weight but I’ll just put them here anyway
First thing ,I would definitely like to see posts not being "auto merged" if you get what I mean. I think it confuses the hell out of people when you post a mile long message quoting different people at the same time. Also , the ones that want to quote my reply will have to eliminate all the other replies in my quoted message manually and this too can get a bit frustrating. In my opinion, we should encourage members to interact more with each other and form a bond and such things really slows its down. Its only via member interaction that any forum can grow. Of course , if you are keeping it for technical issues, there is no harm. Maybe it helps prevent spamming and thread bumping e.t.c.
Also , the chatbox and that "Where do all the members come from banner " all look very messy and is making the home page of the website look very clustered. It would be nice if you can provide the chatbox on a separate page. As far as a forum is concerned , chatbox really serves little purpose.

And about the chatbox: Making it on another page really isn’t in our plans I never heard anyone complaining about it tbh, I don’t really see your point.
About the Gaki worldmap: some think it might slow down the main page. I persoally never had any lag because of it, but I think we’ll make a poll about it and see what’s what.

Would love if you guys would add it so my phone won’t take forever to load a page with all the gifs and stuff

We have Tapatalk installed. I don’t know if ForumRunner is widely used or not?
Forum Runner is used by most of my friends and people from my school, not sure if well known outside that, if its to much of a hassle don’t bother with it
The biggest issue I think is that I don’t know what series includes what, so if there was a description as I know only the no laughing game, it would be a great help to my love for gaki. Thanks

I sent you a pm but to confirm, for example cosplay bus has no real description I would like individual descriptions of what each show or sketch they do is about because I have no idea, also even if I want to learn on my own 70% of the links are not working so it’s best to do a clean up and have content which is actually working.

So basically, like I pointed out, you want descriptions underneath every series. Because majority of the GnT fans already know what the series are about, I didn’t bother putting descriptions underneath those. That’s what Google is for. But if you want this forum to have literally EVERY information which will likely be taken from search engines anyway, I will have to step back and do some adjustments when real life and work isn’t blocking my free time.
As for 70% links that are not working… most of the links were uploaded in some mainstream filesharing sites. Due to megaupload shutting down many days ago, where most links were uploaded, that caused a huge dent for us without much notice. That also counts for tube sites where gaki is uploaded. It’s obvious they will get taken down by Youtube but almost everyone is persistent on uploading their videos in that site.
You would think the only solution is a major clean up but mods can’t do it all alone (points at real life and work). Everyone had free time at some point to help out but it wasn’t due to last. I had a LOT at some point and did a major clean up but I honestly can’t do it alone consistently considering how long this forum has been alive. We will need help from member’s on that part.
I tried searching for subbed and it didn’t work because it is a too common word. I need to fix that.
