  1. Matsumoto - Hes always funny
  2. Yamasaki - I like when hes trying to be cool what usualy ends when he gets beaten in a batsu game then he tends to cry like a little girl, it makes him kinda more human.
  3. Hamada - I like the most when Hamada gets beaten and all the others are laughing about him (Tanaka sometimes trys not to be seen when he laughs about Hamada :D)
  4. Tanaka - Hes funny in a natural way
  5. Endo - Hes a pretty good actor

Oh man, same with me! I prefer Hamada and Tanaka personality-wise but for comedy – which everyone seems to prefer – goes to Matsumoto (bonus for a contagious laugh). Endou is in there somewhere and I also don’t like Yamasaki, esp. when he’s trying to act badass.

I like all of them but Endo and Yamasaki would be on my top list. Endo is handsome and can make funny faces…Yamasaki is cute and has a knack for music (he can play the piano and guitar. He can also write songs). Matsumoto and Hamada are the best comedians in the bunch. Tanaka is also funny even if he does not exert much effort. :)

I like Hamada and MAtsumoto the best because of their amusing tactics. Yamazaki makes funny faces a lot so I like him too.

My favorite obviously is Endo, but that’s just because he’s the only handsome guy among them.

But when it comes to being a comedy genius, definitely my favorite is Mastumoto. Hamada is really good tsukkomi but then that’s because Matsumoto is an awesome boke. Yamasaki might not be that funny if he does a solo act but with the Gaki members, his exaggerated funny attempts become effective. As for Tanaka, he’s the opposite of Yamasaki, he doesn’t actually do anything big or exaggerate just so he could be noticed but when he drops his “punchlines”, boy it is ALWAYS explosively hilarious. Endo is just too handsome to be doing those batsu games, that he becomes funny too.

Now that I think of it, I haven’t seen Cocorico do something like a manzai act. So if someone know where I can find a vid of them doing manzai, please let me know. Sorry if this is a bit unrelated, and doumo arigato in advance! :)

Anyway, by FAR, Matusmoto is my favorite. In batsu games,or Downtown Talk, basically anything, he always delivers.

If I had to pick an order:
Matsumoto
Hamada & Tanaka
Endo & Yamasaki

Man this is hard…I would have to go with:

Let me start this off by saying that I don’t speak a word of Japanese and am basing this off of subbed batsu games (I’ve watched all the 24 hour ones, as well as a few shorter games). I probably miss all kinds of subtle humor from the show.

  1. Matsumoto - childish sense of humor, easily amused. If I were on a batsu game, I could see myself acting that way.

  2. Tanaka - Like several others have said, the “lanky awkward guy that gets bullied” routine works pretty well.

  3. Endo - The most “normal” guy on the show. He seems almost out of place with the others, but somehow I enjoy the fact that he’s there.

  4. Yamazaki - Acts like a baby and just isn’t funny to me.

  5. Hamada - To me, he is like the Japanese version of Bam Margera. He picks on everyone around him, but never seems to get nearly as much punishment as the others. I always find myself rooting for him to laugh in the no-laughing games.

I think they are all awesome, but if i need to make a list in order who makes me laugh the most, it would look like this.

  1. Matsumoto

hii im new here, so just wanna start with: HI ALL! :)

here r my faves in order:

  1. Tanaka - how he ran n lift up his hands like a girl when he saw the bloody nurse in hospital batsu
  2. Hamada - sadistic! :D and loove how he was kind of ‘bullied’ by his juniors in 24 hour tag (the noodle, pork bun and sausage dillema :P)
  3. Heipo - 24 hour tag, with the pies and laddle thing. priceless!
  4. Endo - agreeing with Loftin, he is the most ‘normal’ guy in the show. but i love how he laughs at show-hei hey! in police batsu
  5. Jimmy Onishi - ten ten ten ten… (starts counting how many 'ten’s with his hand)

My favorite would have to be…
*[b:15cl0f8k]Yamasaki[/b:15cl0f8k] - I find him endearing in so many ways. :) Being in the Batsu Games for 7 consecutive years (the ever-so-evil 24 hour tag not withstanding), he just never catches a break does he? Sure his occasional whining and the Goodbye, Yamasaki segments may be a teeny bit melodramatic, but hey - he’s so cute!! -_- [u:15cl0f8k]Defining moment[/u:15cl0f8k]: being attacked by Moriman in the middle of the night (Police Batsu). LOL at him being able to sleep through the KOI~YAMADA (?) and the SHOW-HEY-HEY~~~! only to appropriately wake up to Moriman’s announcement. His face was priceless.

Although I’d like to refrain from listing the whole cast as that would defeat the purpose of making a "favorites"list, I can’t help but mention:
[u:15cl0f8k]Endo[/u:15cl0f8k] - ha, his attempts to suppress laughter are just horrible. SHIKOKU SHIKOKU!!
[u:15cl0f8k]Matsumoto[/u:15cl0f8k] - his sense of humor is so juvenile. I like it. :)
*[u:15cl0f8k]Jimmy Onishi[/u:15cl0f8k] - This guy’s ability to generate lols is OVER 9000… or dare I say… ten…ten…tententententententenTEN
*[u:15cl0f8k]Nishikawa Ayako[/u:15cl0f8k] - (the Sado doctor) I find it amazing how she never hesitates to go through with her attacks. Hamada having to at one point tell her to stop really says something.

if i went to japan & somehow came across HAMA- CHAN & ask for his autograth would hi just shove me away… im not quite sure & i might not even get close cuz the girls will be all over him i recomm…

2-MATSU… i noticed as ei has gotn old he has started to sweak a lot… whilst filming Manzai hamada had to bring a towl cuz Matsu looked insane… haha… hope this does not mean matsu will do less manzai
