Adabo, in the Japanese culture, seeing another man naked is normal and supposedly a form respect among men. Which is why men go to onsen together and it’s normal to see each other naked. So perhaps your feelings are in that vein. However as many have said in about Japanese television, movies, etc. that is taboo and not is not allowed to be shown. Hence the censoring, mosaic and other form of blocking, reinterpretation (tentacles).
For what you want though. We can use what we understand of Japanese culture to figure out the same thing. Shaving is mainly a western, North American (most reasonably American) culture. Other cultures do not do this as a norm. It is a difference between children and men. So you wouldn’t find Matsumoto shaved. You would definitely hear jokes about it if he did. You can also infer a few other things, he not circumcised. That’s not a traditional Asian culture either. You can reasonably guess the rest.
Your fascination is outside the norm. And even if we are "anonymous" on the internet, don’t feel forced share anything personal about yourself that you don’t want to. Also I’m sure no one wants to oust you since you feel differently on the extent you want to understand about your favorite celebrities.
However I would say that whatever label you put on them: "celebrities", "hero", "genius", etc. They are just people, further than that: human. Nothing more special than the title we give them. Try to understand you never have to go that far to understand them. Their abilities are through talent, cleverness, hard work, and what we and media give them. Most of that, each one of us can achieve in our own field of expertise. Understand that about yourself.
