He was on another show before at a shop where you could get your aura photographed. His aura size came out as 50% whilst the other guys was much bigger at 90%, so he was all like ¬_¬

In the meantime, I did another one of those "Amateur Sub" things (don’t know Japanese… just use various tools and lots of time, so not meant to be 100% accurate). In this Hosei-san meets a fan of his, Erika Toda (an actress known for her drama work, such as the live-action adaptation of Death Note). Their encounter is very cute and funny.

Thank you very much Since I haven’t studied the language I’m sure there are mistakes in the translation but I figure, if no-one else has plans to sub something like this, it’s better than nothing.

Sure, no problem. Recently I’ve been posting stuff from things I’ve hunted down on Clubbox though so they’re not so easy to download. I plan to make a list of it all to post in this same Discussion thread and see what people would like uploaded to somewhere else (there’s a lot of bloated filesizes >.< ). Then I’ll post any requests in another "Nostalgia Post" in the actual Yamazaki Compilation thread.
I will definitely be posting the one with Tanaka though, probably with its own separate thread since it also has Matsumoto in it (taking part in playing a special Mahjong-like game since Yamazaki enjoys Mahjong as he said in a batsu once). So yeah, definitely one to be posted here for Gaki fans! It’s from a special program Yamazaki did for the 20th Anniversary of his career (on Gaki they did the episode where he tries to strike/kill 100 people to celebrate it). As usual it’s an excuse for him to make people do silly things. I also understand he’s friends with Jinnai Tomonori so he’s also in it being made to do silly things. I’ll try to post it sometime soon.
The Chiaki one is from a variety show that was hosted by SMAP band members, called something like P-SMA. Different episodes feature different challenges it seems with different guests and in that one they have to investigate peoples homes and profile them down to the finest detail and also draw what they think they look like. Then they bring the person who lives there in to see how they did. I’ll try to get that list going soon and I’ll make a note it’s one you’d like to see uploaded!
Another amateur sub, this time from a talk show where he is talking about his scary experience on a rundown haunted house ride he went on with his daughter. This proved tough since he was talking so fast and uses some uncommon phrases etc. I did my best but there was one line that I could not pick apart by ear at all (after all, I’ve never actually studied Japanese even… ). I have to thank [url=https://twitter.com/pooleden:1eya4byn]@pooleden[/url:1eya4byn] who was kind enough to type down for me the Japanese of that sentence so I could try to decipher the gist of it in English!

You know in the Teacher batsu I think he purposefully chose only to mention certain series/films he’d been in because he knew those titles would make people laugh I wish I could get his old series/movies but some are only on Japanese VHS… I don’t have a way to convert them to DVD myself. For example he played a young school rebel/wannabe-yakuza (low res pic below I cleaned up) and I think he was even in [url=http://i.imgur.com/2ZAKciZ.jpg:1s1ibq40]this prison drama once[/url:1s1ibq40], but not sure since I haven’t been able to find any clips or even screenshots. It’d be funny to see such things though.
