Tsukitei (Yamasaki) Compilation Discussion

But that recorder is used mainly for Gaming Reasons!
Although you can post over here the results of the finnished video.[/quote:3b2nlssw]

Yeah, thats how I learned about it. I watch Twitch.TV (gaming broadcasting site) and a lot of people there use it :)
But basically it is just a recorder software like Bandicam, Fraps etc., so it doesn’t really matter if its a video or a game.
Since its open-source some have also developed addons specifically for capturing stuff on webpages. Because when people are streaming a game on Twitch.TV they also like to display the webchat etc.
I have only used it to record a Flash SWF game so will have to experiment more.[/quote:3b2nlssw]

I might give it a shot, tough I saw it only records on .mp4 or .flv video files, making that a problem for Sony Vegas to edit unless the recorder provides codecs for those files.

[quote:3b2nlssw]
By the way, here’s a link for the MBS channel :)

Thanks. I think both Fengy-thing and this just embed Kukuplay though. But it seems you can get the Kukuplay SWF embed on its own without the surrounding website as andylau-fr posted:

http://gaki-no-tsukai.com/viewtopic.php ... ord#p44955
I didn’t knew you can embed the SWF directly to here. What is Kukuplay?

I read someplace that it uses the same codec library as VLC or something like that.

Embed here on this forum? Don’t think it’s possible, but I think you can embed it on a webpage.
As for what it is, you can go to it here, looks like a game streaming site like Twitch.

http://www.kukuplay.com/

[b:2297uy9d]Short Answer: [/b:2297uy9d]I have no idea haha.

[b:2297uy9d]Long Speculative Answer: [/b:2297uy9d]Justin.tv and Twitch.tv are the same company, just they decided to create a portal for all gaming broadcasts, under the hood they share the same base of operation. Maybe it is the same here with Kukuplay focusing on gaming and Fengy for everything else, but sharing the same servers. With Twitch you can embed your channel’s stream on webpages, perhaps its the same with Kukuplay, I’m just wildly guessing though.

I missunderstood you
I tought you can embed the actual player on this forum haha

So you mean Fengyzhukodoowefhptrollolo and Kukuplay use the same strategy as Justin and Twitch.tv? because that is awesome.
So you mean Fengyzhukodoowefhptrollolo and Kukuplay use the same strategy as Justin and Twitch.tv? because that is awesome.[/quote:1dcncu0i]

I don’t really know personally, but the look of it reminds me of Justin/Twitch. :)
If you go to a channel on Kukuplay broadcasting some game, then click on the watermark logo on the video, it takes you to the same game broadcast but embedded on a Fengy-thing webpage. So seems they are connected in some way at least.

EDIT: By the way, if anyone sees Yoshimoto Biographies よしもと黄金列伝 2014 / 03 / 27 online anywhere please let me know.
Yoshimoto Biographies are doing a special this week with a new episode every day, my auto-record thing managed to grab Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, but something must of went wrong last night. :(

It’s possibe they might have a connection either because the owner(s) felt like make a Japanese version of Twitch.tv or the two joined forces.

Probably [b:15cmah8x]ErnieYoung[/b:15cmah8x] has it recorded or someone else probably has recorded it already. Google is your friend in cases like these :)
Probably [b:1vuco8ia]ErnieYoung[/b:1vuco8ia] has it recorded or someone else probably has recorded it already.[/quote:1vuco8ia]

Doesn’t seem to be as many people in the Kansai region who upload TV shows :(
ErnieYoung might be in the Kanto region because they can be awesome and record Gaki episodes so fast on a Sunday. 8) Oddly the Kansai region gets Gaki episodes a few days later on a Thursday.

People tend to pick and choose what episodes they record of the Biographies series (depends who they interview maybe) so the episodes that aired on the 24th, 25th and 26th were never recorded/uploaded. But by pure luck someone did upload the 27th to FC2!! Yaaaaay!! :inlove:

http://owaraimovielink.blog136.fc2.com/ ... 32931.html

Hopefully NIJI will be up to record the Friday 28th episode.

[quote:1vuco8ia]Google is your friend in cases like these :)[/quote:1vuco8ia]

Absolutely, Google search is my homepage ;) (I also love using Google search filters[/url:1vuco8ia]).
But FC2 can be fast in deleting copyrighted videos… Some slip through but a lot disappear within a day or so. ;( So thought I’d ask incase someone here came across it before me. :) Nevermind though! :D

Answer 1: But I have seen Ernie uploads Gaki episodes from Nippon TV, if he was on the Kansai region, he would get Yomiuri TV actually haha.

Answer 2: They get deleted even if they are uploaded to DailyMotion? FC2 works as a blog host like Blogspot or Tumblr?
Answer 1: But I have seen Ernie uploads Gaki episodes from Nippon TV, if he was on the Kansai region, he would get Yomiuri TV actually haha.[/quote:3ixljquh]

Yeah seems it is:
Kanto - Nippon TV (NTV) - Gaki on Sundays.
Kansai - Yomiuri TV (YTV) - Gaki on Thursdays.
Yoshimoto Biographies is Kansai-region only so it’s not on NTV unfortunately. :(

We have some region specific programming in the UK here too (Wales, Scotland, Midlands, North, South, East, West etc.). Don’t know much about them though.

[quote:3ixljquh]They get deleted even if they are uploaded to DailyMotion? FC2 works as a blog host like Blogspot or Tumblr?[/quote:3ixljquh]

Dailymotion can delete videos at any time and have done so with some Gaki stuff but they just don’t seem to bother as much as Youtube, FC2 etc.

FC2 has a blog host feature yeah, but also a video sharing section.

http://video.fc2.com/ http://blog.fc2.com/

Too bad NIJI doesn’t work right now, so you will have to pray if someone got to record the episode!

I always tought FC2 was a blog host thingie and only Pandora and Nico Nico were the only japanese websites to host videos.
Too bad NIJI doesn’t work right now, so you will have to pray if someone got to record the episode![/quote:hmbtjk86]

Ah phew, I got super lucky and people uploaded the last episode for the week! Yay~

http://owaraimovielink.blog136.fc2.com/ ... 32949.html

Yeah here’s hoping NIJI gets a patch soon. :( Especially before Nanishiyo on Monday. :|

I want to do my daily japanese channel zapping right now, but seems I have to reinstall NIJI :(

I guess this would be the place to ask…

I’ve been watching a show called やすとものどこいこ!? but haven’t been able to find any June and July 2013 episodes.
Hosei was guest on 2013.06.30. So I was just wondering if you have come across it… probably not :(

There is a tiny clip of it here starting at 2:14
[url:3t7nughm]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mvOiBUUUNlA[/url:3t7nughm]

Endou was a guest on 2013.01.27 if anyone is interested
[url:3t7nughm]http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XNTA5NjY1MzY0.html[/url:3t7nughm]

A youtuber uploaded many やすとものどこいこ!? episode last year, but his channel got deleted.

I wish I did :( It looked like a fun episode. After it aired I kept an eye out for an upload to FC2, Youku etc. but noone did. There used to be a Youku channel that uploaded less common shows like that, but its been abandoned for a long time. It was also long before I knew about NIJI or I would of recorded it myself (though these days NIJI is almost always broken so not having much luck there either now sigh ).

Thank you so much for the clip though, I didn’t even know that existed! Yasutomo and Housei are very funny together. Especially Tomoko, they seem to have a similar silly sense of humour and have a lot of fun with it

I do have a link to a much earlier "Where’s Yasutomo Going!?" episode he was on though (2012.07.01). It was back just before his son was born so they were going around looking for stuff to buy to celebrate the event like photo frames, kids clothes etc. It’s in the Past Work Compilation under Casual:

viewtopic.php?f=11&t=4533&p=39898#p39898

By the way, for more Yasutomo with Housei I reccomend checking out these two things:

[b:v0dzu25v]"Gion’s Smile" (March 2013 Talk Show) [/b:v0dzu25v]Tomoko and Housei talk in a very lively manner (you’ll have to watch to see what I mean :D ) about various stuff on stage to a live audience, Yasuyo joins in towards the end.

[b:v0dzu25v]Nanishiyo[/b:v0dzu25v], a casual variety talk show that Yasutomo hosted and Housei was a regular of.

Well it was only a matter of time really. Got this message when I logged into my MoonPin Youtube account today:

Then I got taken to a page with a video "Youtube Copyright School" (by Happy Tree Friends) and asked to fill in a quiz about copyright. I didn’t watch the video and got all the quiz questions right 8) Since networks aren’t interested in providing English translations, it’d be so much better if Fuji TV, NTV etc. just took a percentage of revenue generated from fansubbers (though personally I earnt no revenue, so they’d only have Youtube to take a cut from). Nintendo struck a deal with Youtube recently in this vein:
[hide:27w9jzmh][quote:27w9jzmh]Nintendo has struck a deal with YouTube that will allow players to upload gameplay footage directly from their Wii U consoles to the video sharing platform.

The move appears to be a compromise on Nintendo's part. The company recently took to YouTube to flag thousands of clips featuring gameplay from Nintendo games, and prevented content creators from collecting ad revenue from these videos. With this new program in place, Nintendo, Google and the content creators will split the revenue made from advertising — although details of how that revenue will be divided have not been released. Anyway guess I might have to switch to either uploading to filehosts again or Dailymotion (but I forgot my Dailymotion login & account recovery isn’t working, doh!! ).

Try MEGA - it’s great :)

The video [b:uqqob46d]soudou[/b:uqqob46d] talked about was part of a FNS 27 hour Special from 2005, however, the video was removed by the user. Dissappointing, I know. :(

It was one of my Amateur Sub videos of parts (but not the whole episode) from the Mecha Ike show where Chiaki was the guest and the cast (uncluding Housei) were crossdressed as gossiping women. Fuji TV copyright claimed it so Youtube deleted it.

It’d be so much better if NTV or Fuji just worked out a deal with Youtube to take a cut of the profits from ads displayed with fansubbed videos.
Try MEGA - it’s great :)[/quote:3dq6s6m1]

Thanks. :) Yeah I think MEGA for downloads and Dailymotion for streaming seem to be the best options right now.

It’s funny, because I uploaded a video that was taken like it was paro of Fuji TV, though they didn’t deleted it. Maybe they realized there was a lot of users uploading many videos related to Fuki’s shows and they didn’t had other option than to delete them.

I found the video you subbed like part of the FNS special. There were other guests (I think Housei appeared there, as well as Chief Arino, from Gamecenter CX).

This looks like it’ll be interesting, a 23 minute interview/documentary thing on Housei and his path as a rakugo on NHK. I wonder which NHK it’ll be on NIJI since I think there’s two?

November 24th 6:30~6:53 am Japan time

And the Yasutomo site is showing him as appearing on Nov 23rd too, not sure on time, 3pm Japan I think though. There’s a short preview video on the homepage and a info page about it. Looks like they’ll be going Christmas shopping.

On November 22nd he’s billed to be a guest on Sanma’s 2 and a half hour Osaka-based special on KTV from 3pm Japan time. He’ll be on it with fellow rakugo Tsukitei Hakko and his teacher Tsukitei Happo.
